On 3 January 2025, we ceremoniously tapped the foundation stone and symbolically started the long-awaited reconstruction of the summer swimming pool and indoor pool in Břeclav.
This project will transform the site into a modern sports and recreation complex. During the next 20 months, the site will be completely closed so that all planned construction and technological modifications can be carried out.
The design draws inspiration from natural materials and elements such as water, stone, sand, sky, mountains and sun. These elements are reflected in the overall visual concept of the building and the site.
The planned redevelopment will bring a number of innovations that will significantly improve the comfort and attractiveness of the whole area. The main changes include:
- Stainless steel pools of modern design and high durability, ensuring long life and easy maintenance.
- Energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies.
- A new recreational pool that will offer space for both relaxation and fun.
- An indoor slide that both children and adults will appreciate.
- An extended wellness area for moments of relaxation and peace.
The total investment in the reconstruction amounts to CZK 438 million excluding VAT. Upon its completion, planned for 2026, visitors can look forward to a modern facility that will offer a completely new experience of swimming, relaxation and wellness services.
The implementation of this important project will bring the town of Břeclav a modern and environmentally friendly recreational area for all age groups.
